Staffing Details

Camp Leo is staffed with a 3:1 ratio of campers to counselors. Counselors have experience working with individuals of all abilities, and are required to undergo a criminal background and central registry checks.

If you are interested in working or volunteering for Camp Leo, be sure to check out our "Staff Application" page.

Activities

Campers will participate in hiking, hayrides, swimming, fishing, arts and crafts, ropes course, alpine slides, campfire sing-alongs, soccer, dancing, softball, volleyball, boating, and so much more!

Carnival Night

One of the highlights of Camp Leo (Session 1) is the Carnival Night. On the last night of session 1, Lions from clubs in 11-B2 come to socialize and participate in activities with the campers, as well as attend the talent show. Past Carnival Nights have included cotton candy, face painting, carnival games, water balloons, and so much more! It's easy to see why Carnival Night is a favorite of both campers and Lions!

Prom (Summer Camp Style)

During Session 2 of Camp Leo, there will be a formal dinner, dance and Karaoke- think Prom, but summer camp style! Lions from clubs 11-B2 will join our young adult campers for a night filled with music, food and dancing. Campers and Lions will love capturing memories at the Camp Leo photobooth as they dance the night away to all their favorite tunes.
